The AG Standard

Hold us to it.

Three things ruin renovations. Here is how we remove each one.

Surprises, delays, and finger-pointing. Every rule in the Standard exists to take one of them off your plate — and it is written down before you sign, so you can hold us to every word.

Two minutes

The Standard,
explained.

What happens at each phase, who answers for it, and what you can hold us to — from the people who wrote it.

Why it exists

The three fears,
answered.

Ask anyone who has renovated what went wrong. It is always one of these three.

Surprises

You never learn about a cost after it has been spent.

Anything found behind a wall is documented, priced and signed as a written change order before it is covered back up.

Delays

The date is on paper, with 5% of our money behind it.

Delivered through the final checklist by the completion date on your signed schedule, or 5% off the entire project.

Finger-pointing

One person answers for your project.

An Account Success Manager owns your project from the first call through the warranty. You always know who to call.

Your project, phase by phase

Five phases.
Two of them before
anyone lifts a hammer.

Most contractors have two phases: sign the contract, start swinging. That is why most projects go sideways.

01 — Discovery

We come to the house
before we talk about money.

Your Account Success Manager — one person, from this first call all the way through the warranty — walks the home and listens to what you are actually trying to solve. Then they write a Feasibility Report. If we are not the right fit for the project, you hear it now, before you have spent a dollar.

What lands in your hands
The Feasibility Report, and a straight answer.

02 — Architectural Planning

You approve the floor plan
before anything moves.

Drawings, the mechanical, electrical and plumbing plans, structural and energy reports, and every permit the city requires — all finished before demolition. Skipping this is the single biggest reason other projects blow their budget, which is why ours hold.

What lands in your hands
The drawings, the permits, and the floor plan with your signature on it.

03 — Selections & Final Design

You see the room
before it exists.

Cabinets, stone, floors and fixtures chosen with 3D renders, so you are looking at your kitchen, not a sample board. Then the budget, the schedule and the scope are locked. Once the build starts, nothing is a moving target.

What lands in your hands
The renders, and the locked budget, schedule and scope.

04 — Construction

You know what happened
at your house today.

A dedicated Project Manager runs the build and holds an 8:30 AM team meeting every morning. Every stage of every trade is inspected against a written standard and photographed before it is closed up. You get daily updates from the PM and a written weekly update from your ASM.

What lands in your hands
The photographs, the live schedule, and every change in writing before it happens.

05 — Closeout & Warranty

No one can ever put
a claim on your house.

The final walkthrough is with you, against a signed punch list. Then a lien release from every subcontractor — written confirmation that nothing is owed to them, so none of them can ever attach a claim to your home. The workmanship warranty is issued in writing. And we stay reachable.

What lands in your hands
The written warranty, the signed punch list, and the lien releases.

Four more promises

Written down.
Yours to keep.

01

The budget you sign is the budget you pay.

Two full planning phases before construction begins. Most builders have zero.

02

You always know who to call.

An Account Success Manager, a Lead Project Manager and a coordinator are assigned on day one — not a rotating cast.

03

One ledger. No mystery line items.

Every payment, material order and subcontractor bill runs through one system, which is why the final invoice matches the signed scope.

04

The same price as your neighbor.

We quote from one rate sheet, regardless of the neighborhood or how your enquiry arrived.

Inspected, not assumed

Nothing gets
covered up
on trust.

The parts of a renovation you will never see again are the parts that decide whether it lasts — the framing behind the drywall, the waterproofing under the tile, the connections above the ceiling. Once they are covered, you are trusting that somebody looked.

Somebody looked. Every stage of every trade is reviewed by the Project Manager against a written standard before it can be marked complete, and photographed into our app as it happens. Anything that does not meet the standard is corrected before the wall closes — and either way, there is a photograph of it.

What that gets you

What you
never worry about.

01

The hidden work is documented most

The stages that disappear behind finishes get photographed most heavily, not least. There is a record of what is actually inside your walls.

02

The same check on every job

A written standard means the inspection does not depend on which Project Manager you got, or how busy that particular week was.

03

A record that stays yours

Every stage and every photograph stays with your project — so in ten years you can still see exactly what was done, and how.

Your project, visible

Know what happened
at your house today,
without calling anyone.

Most of the stress in a renovation is not the work. It is the not knowing — whether anybody showed up, whether the date moved, whether the thing you asked about last Tuesday actually got handled.

So we built our own app and gave you a seat in it. You see what happened on your property today in photographs, exactly where the schedule stands, every movement in that schedule and why it moved — and what is scheduled to happen for the next two weeks.

What that gets you

What you
will see.

01

Today, in photographs

Every day's work documented on site as it happens, not summarized later from memory.

02

The schedule, and every time it moves

You see the movement and the reason for it the day it happens — not at the end of the month.

03

The next two weeks, always

You always know what is coming, so you can plan around it instead of being told after.

Our guarantee

5%

On time, or 5% back.

We deliver your project through the final checklist by the completion date on your signed schedule — or we take 5% off the entire project.

Not 5% of the delay. 5% of the whole job.

Almost every contractor gives you a date. Almost none of them put their own money behind it. We can, because the schedule is not a hope — it is built in planning, watched every day, and reviewed against the written standard at every stage.

How the guarantee works

Start a project

Hold us to it.

Tell us about the house. We will walk you through the Standard on the discovery call, before we ever talk price.
